WELCOME TO THE

SCENIC VIEW PASO FINO FARM

In 2002, I became the proud owner of my first Paso Fino and from that moment on, I had to have more (I think it is a sickness all horse owners have). After acquiring several mares, I decided I wanted to take my ranch to the next level and purchase a Stallion of my own. Everyone told me "Bernice, you don't want a stallion, they are a lot of work and can be very dangerous!” After talking to several stallion owners, I decided I would give it a whirl; boy I am glad I did! Dream Weaver de Holandes has been by far the most enjoyable experience I have had in all my years of dealing with horses; he has been a blessing, not only does he have a great disposition, an awesome gait, excellent conformation, A beautiful head, but manners to boot... I could not have custom ordered a better stallion. He also throws many of these marvelous attributes in his offspring!

I love taking Dreamer out on trails. I find people are simply amazed at how well behaved he is around other horses; most trail riders don't even know he is a stallion until I tell them. I get a kick out of riding him bareback and gaiting around the campsites in "Largo" and watching people look up from what they are doing when they hear the "packa packa, packa" of the Paso gait go flying by. I get the biggest smile on my face when they comment on how nice he is.....I just love showing this magnificent animal off!

The Paso Fino is one of the most loving, energetic and willing horses I have ever worked with; by far one of the most fun horses on the trails. Head up and ready to go the Paso can move out or take it slow and easy; sure footed up and down rocky terrain, and talk about smooth......you can stay in the saddle all day. Paso's are a very versatile breed and are willing to take on any challenge. Most people I come across think of them as show horses, but after watching a Paso hit the trails, it changes their perception.

This year, I am going to add another stallion to the herd; Royalty's TJ. TJ is a pure Puerto Rican stallion. TJ will be joining us February of 2008 and standing at stud this year. We are very excited to have him in our Paso family.
